INTERIOR DESIGNER
South Jersey based architecture & design firm is actively seeking an Interior Designer with experience in healthcare, assisted living or hospitality experience to design and develop the interiors of multiple project types and scales, applying design and technical knowledge, in a systems-thinking approach. This role actively collaborates and participates in design discourse and critiques with the team, expressing design ideas and solutions using a variety of design technology tools. You express your ideas through hand sketching, material palette curation, digital modeling, and rendering in client and Principal facing communication.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7-10 years of Interior Design experience working with diverse clients and project types, strong preference for healthcare, assisted living or hospitality experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited University
NCIDQ or working towards certification
LEED AP, WELL AP or other sustainability accreditation, or working towards accreditation
Working knowledge of project types in firm's core markets (healthcare, assisted living, hospitality)
Experience with all phases of design, concept through construction
Ability to express design ideas through design narrative and graphic communication
Ability to think three-dimensionally to understand and solve complex design issues
Demonstrated systems-thinking approach to interior design, demonstrated through programming, space planning, interior development, materiality, and FF&E
Ability to express design ideas and solutions through hand sketching, digital modeling, and rendering using our design technology tools AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft OS
Revit skills desirable
Ability to work in a team environment, on multiple projects assigned in multiple offices
Willingness and ability to travel for project-related responsibilities
