ASSOCIATE TECHNICAL DESIGNER, CREWCUTS

 

OVERVIEW:

This position will be a great opportunity to work in multiple categories of Crewcuts: Girls and Boys woven,  knits, sweaters, swim, sleep, cold weather and underwear products.

Associate will work directly with a Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities:

*Assist in coordinating department fittings by tracking samples, organizing and completing the fit list, booking the fit model, etc. *Other responsibilities, workload allocation will vary according to department needs and special projects being handled by the department Manager *Measure incoming garments against our spec and vendor supplied measurements *Prepare and track samples *Assist in fittings by preparing samples and taking notes *Being responsible for assigned by Manager line of clothes that may include different departments like: woven, knits sweaters etc. *Maintain PLM tech log and PLM technical packs under direction of department Manager
 

 

Qualifications:

*College degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design. At least 2 years of experience in Technical Design *Basic knowledge PLM preferred *Proficient in PC applications including MS Office and Illustrator *Knowledge of garment construction *Pattern drafting and draping skills *Knowledge of sewing *Basic understanding of grading *Excellent communication, organizational skills *Attention to detail and follow up skills *Flexible and adaptive to a multi- tasked environment
