Sr. OBPDM Operations Manager

The Sr. Owned Brand Product Development & Management Operations Manager will be responsible for leading product development, vendor training and process enhancement to solve business specific pain points, including those in product design & development, sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management.
This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Apparel Design and Development, or a related field and 4 years of experience in supply chain management. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) determining and establishing most efficient product development process, machinery, raw material for mixed material products including fabric, wood, ceramic, metal, glass, and plastic, as well as factory set up, compliance and audits, costing, services and human resource; (2) working with Apparel and Home products manufacturing processes, product design and development techniques used for clothing, soft and hard home goods, designing factory layouts, production planning, implementing JIT processes, and logistics and packaging; (3) analyzing statistics, data, product portfolio and competitive advantage using various tools for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Project Management, and Data visualization; (4) developing and implementing supplier contracts, terms and performance levels of vendors, defining product specifications to determine the right product at competitive price, short and long term strategy to cultivate partnerships with suppliers and factories to meet financial targets; and (5) researching, identifying and vetting for new factories, material types, global sourcing locations to ensure vendors and factories meet applicable standards and guidelines. Experience may have been gained before, during, or after the Master's degree program. Up to 25 % of domestic and international travel required.
