Our New York City office is currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join the Architectural Practice. This is a great opportunity for an entry level architect to gain exposure to a wide variety of public sector projects, including but not limited to: rail/transit, administrative buildings, maintenance facilities and stations, K-8 schools, and courthouses.

Develop presentations, designs and technical solutions through all phases of a project
Assist in the preparation of architectural working drawings and related project documents
Assist in Construction Administration of projects including review of Shop Drawings, responding to requests for information, site visits and reports.
Collaborate with other project team members including Engineers, Consultants, Vendors, etc.
Prepare conceptual renderings and supporting graphics for project presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Architecture is required
3 years of experience in an architecture design/construction documentation role for various types of structures including: institutional, commercial, industrial, government (Federal, state and local)
Ability to become a registered architect in NY State
Must be able to work effectively both individually and within team situations
Must exhibit strong written and verbal skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT Building Information Modeling Architecture with experience in both design and construction documentation is required
Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino/3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint is desired
Knowledge of International Building Codes is desired
