Dewberry is currently seeking a Landscape Architect to join our site/civil department in our Raleigh, NC office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the urban development and government sector. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects

Responsibilities

Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential.
Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications.
Site/civil development including grading design, storm water management systems design, landscaping, and erosion and sediment control design, using Civil 3D.
Project Manager responsible for client relationship management.
Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning.
4-8 years of experience in landscape architecture and/or planning.
RLA licensure preferred.
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills.
Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, Lumion, GIS/ArcView and Power Point.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview.
