Training and development of the top level modelers across SLSS Houston and CMI

Establishing drafting practices and best practices

Coordinating discussions with all designers on lessons learned

Working with the Business Digital initiative team on plans forward to understand the impact on the SLSS business with the current processes and modifying as required

Familiarizing themselves with Drafter/Designer ROADS program

Reviewing and modifying competencies in SCMI and move designers into PATH

Working with Integration team on UDF and templates to minimize errors

Implementing process drawings into everyday design routines

Developing/maintaining electronic check process to be used globally

Working with CreoCouncil to make sure designers are aware of latest software updates

Monitoring errors of the dept and implementing long term corrective actions

Minimum Job Qualifications:

7 years relevant experience as Designer/Technologist

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solving ability

Computer skills to include: SAP/GEMS (desirable), Office (Word, Excel, etc), and Inventor/Creo or similar 3D CAD package

Adaptability/Flexibility.

Customer (internal and external) focus.

Decision Making/Judgment. Dependability. Initiative.

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
