Our ideal candidate is creative (naturally), detail-oriented, and collaborative—a skilled typographer with an eye on design trends.
As the Art Director you’ll be responsible for leading the internal creative team within in the Marketing department, bringing department initiatives and concepts to life across multiple platforms (print, web, and other digital).
This position is dynamic and all about ownership—it’s the kind of opportunity that will allow you to develop unique and memorable concepts and to bring these designs to completion in all related print collateral and interactive executions. As such, you’ll be expected to flex your creative muscles routinely as you generate develop concepts and design assets that enhance the brand experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Art Director, you’ll...
Develop concepts and design for digital and printed branded materials including advertisements, collateral, and presentation materials
Lead a team of designers- develop, follow and maintain brand identity characteristics, typography, photography, color etc., evolving when necessary and providing art direction feedback as needed
Ensure consistent and cohesive design language and formats across all collateral and web/multimedia projects
Manage, organize and maintain artworks for flawless file releasing and production
Be able to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects with high level of detail and accuracy
Take ownership and responsibility for assigned projects and interact with outside marketing partners (e.g., agencies, media buyers, print production vendors, etc.) to get our marketing materials out the door and into our venues
Be reliable, resourceful, and a team player; able to work with both internal and external content providers
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Degree (BFA, BA, BS) in Graphic Design / Web Design/ Design Communication
Minimum of five (5) years of graphic design experience (hospitality experience is a major plus!)
Superior organizational skills, keen eye for detail, ability to work under tight deadlines
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Mac OS X
…and Bonus Points if you have a knowledge of: Adobe After Effects, HTML, Flash, Final Cut Pro, and other marketing-related content management tools
