The Learning Design Professional II uses instructional design, cognitive psychology and adult learning theory to determine the appropriate solution to a knowledge or performance gap. The Learning Design Professional II work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

What You'll Do:

The Learning Design Professional II:

Analyzes content, organizes content, designs solutions, and writes storyboards, scripts, performance support, mobile learning and manuals

Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content

Writes effective learning objectives and coordinates performance assessments to measure training effectiveness

Ensures course materials are current and relevant to training needs

Tracks and analyzes the training programs effectiveness by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement

Provides instruction and guidance to Facilitators

Knows how to use social media and collaborative tools to facilitate learning

Plans, organizes, and develops training curriculum, materials, job performance aids and programs to meet specific training needs

Uses consultative skills to commit projects and conduct needs analysis with clients to determine whether learning solutions are necessary or relevant

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed

Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience developing curriculum content, eLearning programs and virtual learning solutions

Prior demonstrated capability working with teams and developing and maintaining a dynamic and high performing team culture

2 years of facilitation experience with adult learners

Progressive business experience with a focus on learning strategies and adult learning theories

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Flexibility navigating change in a fast paced environment

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Five or more years of technical experience

Ability to work and communicate constructively with all levels of the organization (Department leaders, managers, individual contributors, learning peers)

Proficient in Adobe Captivate 8.0 (and above), Photoshop, Audition, and/or Camtasia

Proficient in Adobe InDesign

Proficient in Articulate Storyline

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Technical skills in virtual training platform and live training session delivery, such as such as Webex, Zoom, and Teams

Strong organizational and project management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
