\u003cp\u003eThe Instructional Designer is responsible for collaborating with Department Deans, Department Chairs, and other Instructional Designers for the design of online courses. The Instructional Designer participates in the design of training materials, course content, and fully online courses. The Instructional Designer will maintain and evolve the course development standards in coordination with other Instructional Designers. The Instructional Designer role will also support the onboarding and training of new Instructional Designers and help to mentor Instructional Technologists.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cli\u003eDesign courses that meet Rasmussen\u0026rsquo;s quality standards.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCreate and maintain styles, standards, and best-practices for online course design.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eConduct training and informative sessions with peers, faculty, and staff.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCreate interactive multimedia elements that incorporate multiple learning styles.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDesign courses and partake in large scale projects/initiatives.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eArticulate design approaches and best practices in online learning to DDs and DCs.\u003c/li\u003e

The Instructional Designer will mainly interact with members of the Academic Affairs team. Depending on the training initiatives, there could also be collaborative projects with various teams across the institution.\u003c/p\u003e
