The role of Sr. Media Developer contributes to HighPoint through the creation and provision of engaging interactive content, primarily for innovative training products. This role also performs as a mentor, advisor, and a Media Development subject matter expert for the team and organization. The Sr. Media Developer collaborates with HighPoint departments and partners to ensure project deliverables meet HighPoint\u2019s quality standards and adhere to or exceed client expectations.\u00A0KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:The drive to accomplish the overall goals of the Media Development team and training organization and be a respected, significant contributor for the team.Ability to recognize when others require assistance and demonstrate a willingness and aptitude for supporting others to deliver positive results.Ability to promote collaboration and inspire effective relationship-building across all teams and design projects.Ability to maintain a consistent and astute attention to detail, showing meticulous consideration for tasks, workloads, and organizational responsibilities.Ability to achieve an effective balance between team advocacy and leadership\u2019s direction.Must consistently demonstrate a positive character and outlook regarding daily operations, development, and change; champion important initiatives regarding process and environment improvements.Ability to recognize leadership and development needs; demonstrate a willingness and aptitude for assisting team members to achieve positive outcomes.Ability to provide clear, timely, and appropriate communication regarding issues, opportunities, barriers, and project risks to all levels and groups across the contract.Ability to facilitate large group meetings, focus groups, and other initiative meetings as needed.Must require little to no guidance interpreting complex design concepts and ideas; effectively determine appropriate resources, development tools, and workload priorities.Ability to recognize concerns related to design elements, development documents, and curriculum strategies; attentively collaborate with responsible parties to pursue appropriate and timely solutions.Ability to readily identify design constraints and creative opportunities at the product level; recommend and execute appropriate solutions that ensure the health of the overall product or project as needed.Ability to research and pursue innovative design opportunities and be an early adopter of supportive development tools and processes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00A0 Develop innovative eLearning modules, training products, and graphic design elements using industry-standard design software including but not limited to Adobe Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, and web development technologies (for example, HTML and/or JavaScript). Provide visual and branding leadership; deliver products in a timely manner with unparalleled quality and accuracy standards. Manage multiple, multifaceted tasks efficiently to ensure timely delivery of projects with varying timelines, scope, and complexity. Coordinate and collaborate with team members (MDs, IDs, project leads, PMs, etc.) to ensure all media development products adhere to consistent high-quality style and standards, readability, and organization and are delivered within required deadlines. Lead productive consultation, collaboration, and constructive design critiques with media developers, cross-team partners, and with internal and external customers. Recommend and advocate for exceptional design solutions and best practices regarding design quality, user-experience, innovation, styles and standards, and creative advancement. Demonstrate a consistent customer-first approach by leading with respectful collaboration and inclusion of all responsible parties\u2019 perspectives and viewpoints. Review and recommend improved processes and procedures for Media Development team, creating and maintaining job aids, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures as necessary. Lead key projects and collaborate with cross-team partners to drive strategic innovation and team advancements. Provide timely insight and considerate recommendations to direct and inform leadership-level decisions, communications, and development initiatives. Address questions, resolve complex issues related to media development, and coordinate communication between different lines of business; act as a liaison between management, members of the Media Development team, and other HighPoint teams. Support new hire onboarding; assist with development plans, learning tasks, and job shadowing. Mentor other media developers and regularly meet with the team to discuss design advancements, answer development questions, and support skills improvement. Document processes and procedures for Media Development team, creating and maintaining job aids, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures as necessary.EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field and at least 4 years of media development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Supervisory or management experience a plus.HighPoint is a federal government contractor.\u00A0 To ensure compliance with Executive Order 14042, HighPoint requires employees to either (1) show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or (2) have an approved reasonable accommodation, based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief, exempting them from the requirement.
