The Instructional Designer I will support the design and development for Radian National Training. This includes the needs analysis, design plan, development and maintenance of In-Person Workshops, Webinars, Virtual Classrooms, Video or On-Demand, and eLearning modules.
The ideal candidate must be able to successfully analyze learning needs and translate business technical content into engaging conversational learning experiences using a variety of blended learning solutions. Reporting into the Center for Design Excellence, this individual should also be able to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities, be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. Proficiency with video production and editing is required.
What you will do:
Support the design of Radian National Training course materials including written course content and video-content and elearning content.
Develop learning solutions that include clear learning objectives, participant guides, facilitator guides, digital resources or videos, job aids, assessments, and-or marketing collateral.
Manage new program pilot and Train-the-Trainer processes to ensure effective design and delivery
Manage learning projects including: develop and manage project plans, conduct project meetings, ensure project deliverables are met on time-on budget while engaging internal partners, and SMEs.
Managing the Program Lifecycle – From creation to program maintenance to retirement to ensure only relevant and accurate information is presented to Radian customers.
Lead the redesign and updates of existing courses, including webinars. Creation and redesign of learning resources such as: instructor-led (ILT) and webinar presentations, quick reference guides, infographics, training video assets and other social media assets (eBooks, flyers, etc.)
Create marketing content to support Radian National Training and expand awareness, enrollment and recognition for our learning resources in the industry. This will be done through flyers, video and social media content.
Facilitate or Moderate learning programs on an as needed basis or for new program pilot launches as it relates to the Instructional Design role.
Supporting innovation process improvement, creating PNPs, supporting updates to the maintenance cycle.
What we are looking for:
3-5 years experiences in instructional design role with proficiency in adult learning theory and the ADDIE method.
Must have developed technical learning program, compliance or regulatory, and sales, coaching or other soft skills learning to show diversity of design/development capabilities.
Needs to be able to design and manage the design of Instructor-Led materials, as well as, e-learning or on-demand content including editing of video and multimedia content.
Proficient with the following: Adobe Connect, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Articulate Storyline, MS Office, SnagIt, Camtasia Studio and Captivate
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to manage programs and take the complex topics and break them down into easy to understand topics through visual design and course content.
Ability to manage and work with all types of personalities and deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing .
Ability both collaborate and influence as needed to come to the best outcome for the project or learning solution.
Fluidity. Design and Development can be very rigid. Radian is more business line driven than most traditional 'HR' L and D organizations. This person will need to be adaptable and comfortable by going with the flow versus being rigid through the process of D and D.

Prior Work Experience and Education:
3 to 5 years of related work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Graphic Design / Multimedia Design required
